For several weeks now, you might have seen Brandbuzz Moms do some uncommon and amusing posts. Whether they wear plain white shirts and jeans, feature Coca-Cola bottles, project some summer vibes or take shots near plants or trees—these BB moms are always up for some challenge. Let me refresh your memory and check #BBAwra or #BBAwraChallenge hashtags on Instagram.

It all started when a group was formed for moms who needed some improvement on how they take photos, make content, and upgrade their feed. Mentors provided tips and guided these moms for each Brandbuzz project. Eventually, challenges would be given almost every week to check improvements in the group. Prizes were awarded to winners, like BB seeding products or home items like plates, jars and placemats. These prizes are really good motivators to join the contests because they can be used for their kids while some are for the moms themselves. Some prizes are even useful as props that they can use for their future content.

Challenge:  Summer Vibe

Seeing photos and videos posted by moms might make some people think that it’s as easy as merely taking photos and then they’re done! It may seem like it, but the truth is, it takes a lot of time and effort to come up with one relevant content. Often, it would take several shots (sometimes more than 50!) to get that single good angle; it takes time planning and thinking of what props to use; and most of importantly, a whole new level of style and technique just to achieve that “perfect shot.” If you’re still in doubt, well, let these photos convince you.

One of the most interesting challenges is the #BBAwraChallenge. What made it a favorite of a lot of moms is that they did not just experiment and discover what they can do but they also were able to have fun doing it, just like the rest of the tests they have done in the past. It might seem challenging to execute but seeing the end results, learning from the mentors, and seeing how good it looks on their feed, makes it all worth it.
